Your admin dashboard
After signing in, your dashboard shows everything you need at a glance:
- Church Page URL... your public Ekkora page address. Click the copy button to copy it to the clipboard and share it with your members.
- Kiosk URL... the same URL with
?mode=kioskappended, for use on dedicated tablets. Copy this when setting up kiosk devices. - Edit Settings... takes you to your full church settings page.
- Change Password... update your admin login password.
- Sign Out... log out of the admin portal.
Your dashboard also shows a live preview of your church page so you can see exactly what your members see.

We recommend setting a strong personal password as soon as you receive your account.
- From the dashboard, click Change Password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters).
- Confirm the new password.
- Click Update Password.

If you are using a shared or public computer, always sign out when finished. Your session will also expire automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Church Settings
Church name and page URL
From the dashboard, click Edit Settings. At the top of the settings page you will see:
- Church Name... the name displayed in the header of your public church page. Update this to match your church's official name.
- Page Slug... the last part of your church's URL (for example,
ekkora.com/your-slug). This is set when your account is created and cannot be changed by admins. Contact us if you need it updated.
Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page to apply any changes. Changes are reflected on your public page immediately.
Uploading your church logo
Your logo appears in the header of your public church page. To upload or replace your logo:
- Go to Settings → General.
- Click Choose File in the Logo section.
- Select your logo file. Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, WebP, or SVG. Maximum file size: 2MB.
- Click Save Settings.
Tips for best results:
- Use a PNG or SVG with a transparent background so the logo looks clean on any background color.
- Horizontal (landscape) logos display best in the header bar.
- Recommended minimum width: 200px. Maximum display width: 200px (the logo is scaled to fit).
Custom logos are available on Connect, Grow, and Network plans. On the free Community plan, the Ekkora logo and name are displayed instead.
Setting your brand colors
In Settings → General, you can customize three colors for your church page:
- Primary Color... the background color of your connection tile buttons.
- Background Color... the page background behind the tiles.
- Header Color... the color of the top navigation bar.
Click the color swatch next to each field to open a color picker, or type a hex code directly (example: #1a3a6e).
Contrast validation: Ekkora automatically checks that white button text is readable against your chosen Primary and Header colors (WCAG 2.1 AA standard, 4.5:1 contrast ratio). If a color fails this test, you will see a warning. Choose a darker shade of that color to pass.
Custom branding is available on Connect, Grow, and Network plans.
Service schedule settings (for kiosk auto-launch)
If you are using kiosk mode on a dedicated tablet, you can configure Ekkora to automatically launch the Watch Live tile at the start of your service. Set up your schedule in Settings → General:
- Service Day... the day of the week your main service is held (e.g., Sunday).
- Service Time... the start time of your service in your church's local time.
- Service Duration... how many minutes the service typically runs. After this time, the kiosk returns to the main tile menu.
- Timezone... your church's timezone. This ensures auto-launch timing is accurate.
The Prayer Meeting tile has its own separate schedule settings, configured the same way under its tile settings.
Schedule-based auto-launch only activates when the page is loaded in kiosk mode (?mode=kiosk in the URL). Regular member access is not affected.
Connection Tiles
Overview: the 12 connection tiles
Your church page can display up to 12 connection tiles. Each tile is a large, easy-to-tap button that links your members to a specific resource. Tiles are always displayed in this fixed order:
- Watch Live... links to your livestream (YouTube, Facebook Live, Vimeo, etc.)
- Call Pastor... places a direct phone call to the pastor
- Prayer Meeting... links to your online prayer meeting (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
- Prayer Request... opens a simple form that emails your prayer team
- Call Church Office... places a direct phone call to the church office
- Church Website... links to your main church website
- Past Messages... links to your sermon archive
- Church Directory... links to your online directory
- Pray For Others... links to a shared prayer list or prayer wall
- Give... links to your online giving platform
- Announcements... links to your announcements page or bulletin
- Care Request... opens a simple form that emails your care team
Enable only the tiles relevant to your church. Tiles missing required information (URL, phone number, or email) are automatically hidden from members even if toggled on.
Setting up link tiles (Watch Live, Church Website, etc.)
Link tiles open a web address when tapped. In Settings → Tiles:
- Find the tile you want to configure.
- Toggle the tile On.
- Enter the full URL in the URL field. Always include
https://at the start (example:https://www.youtube.com/@yourchurch/live). - Click Save Settings.
The tile will immediately appear on your public page. If you clear the URL field, the tile will be hidden automatically even if the toggle is on.
Setting up phone tiles (Call Pastor, Call Church Office)
Phone tiles launch a phone call directly when tapped on a mobile device. On tablets and computers, they open the device's default phone or VoIP app.
- Find the Call Pastor or Call Church Office tile in Settings → Tiles.
- Toggle the tile On.
- Enter the phone number in standard format, such as
(937) 555-1234. - Click Save Settings.
When a member taps the tile, their device will dial the number directly. No extra steps required.
Setting up form tiles (Prayer Request, Care Request)
Form tiles display a simple message form when tapped. The submitted message is sent directly to the email address you configure for that tile.
- Find the Prayer Request or Care Request tile in Settings → Tiles.
- Toggle the tile On.
- Enter the destination email address. This is typically the email of your prayer team leader or care ministry coordinator.
- Click Save Settings.
Members are not required to provide their name or email when submitting a form... the form is intentionally minimal to reduce friction for elderly users. If they want a response, they can include their contact info in the message body.
Form submissions are sent immediately and are not stored in the Ekkora database... they go directly to your inbox.
Setting up Microsoft Teams or Zoom deep links
For the Watch Live and Prayer Meeting tiles, you can choose how the link opens. This matters if your meeting is on Teams or Zoom and you want the app to open directly instead of a browser tab.
In Settings → Tiles, each of these tiles has a Launch Mode dropdown:
- URL (default)... opens any web link normally in the browser.
- Teams... converts a standard
teams.microsoft.commeeting link into amsteams://deep link that opens directly in the Microsoft Teams app. Paste your regular Teams invite URL and Ekkora handles the conversion. - Custom deep link... lets you enter any custom deep link manually, such as a
zoommtg://Zoom link.
Deep links require the relevant app (Teams or Zoom) to be installed on the member's device. If the app is not installed, the link will fall back to the browser.
For most churches using YouTube or Facebook Live, the default URL mode is all you need.
